About

Axxi Oma (the artist name originates from ‘axiom’ in Ukrainian) is a Ukrainian Berlin-based live act and music producer crafting dark electropop with live vocals. Her self-produced latest EP, Planets and Gods, was described by METAL Magazine as “an atmospheric world suspended between folklore and science.” This year, she has performed at festivals such as Millerntor Gallery (Hamburg, DE), Berlin Art Week (Berlin, DE), and Female Force Festival (Aarhus, DK). Blending hypnotic loops, deep beats, and glitchy textures, her sound fuses electronica with an experimental edge.

After moving to Berlin in March 2022 due to the full-scale invasion of russia into Ukraine, her experience as a refugee deeply influenced her art. She paused her electronic project to compose piano music for independent theater groups. During this time, she met Ukrainian artist Iryna Mavka, who introduced her to live looping. After Axxi’s music for the piece Stay United was performed at Deutsches Theater in 2023, she felt it was time to return to her electronic project, incorporating live looping into her solo performances. Since then, she has performed her live set at festivals like Mindscape Festival and Luminar Flow, as well as in venues such as Madame Claude, ACUD, and Hotel Continental. She has also been featured on Funkwerke Streams.

In Berlin, she continued collaborating with Ukrainian artists as part of the community art space Cultural Workers Studio. Notably, she has a close partnership with fellow studio member Anita Kopylenko, who was the director of photography for the music video for her song Voda (2023) and also produced the upcoming video for her single How Your Home Smells (2024). In 2024, they both participated in the La Guarimba music residency in Amantea, Italy, where Axxi produced her debut EP Planets and Gods (2025). The release was recognised by international media such as METAL Magazine, Earmilk, and IGGY Magazine.

Her songs Mermaids and White hole from Planets and Gods got selected for the charity compilations 24.2.25 by the Ukrainian label Ochi as well as ДІМ / HOME by the German Label Klikerklub.
