Axxi Oma is a Ukrainian Berlin-based live act and music producer crafting dark electropop with live vocals. Her self-produced latest EP, Planets and Gods, was described by METAL Magazine as “an atmospheric world suspended between folklore and science.” This year, she has performed at festivals such as Millerntor Gallery (Hamburg, DE), Berlin Art Week (Berlin, DE), and Female Force Festival (Aarhus, DK). Blending hypnotic loops, deep beats, and glitchy textures, her sound fuses electronica with an experimental edge.

Planets and Gods is Axxi Oma’s debute EP about a fictional non-religious culture. It was born in Amantea, a small town in southern Italy, which permeated the “unlike anything else” culture with Calabrian traditions. Legends about mermaids, mountains, the sea, and field recordings—all of this became the basis for the mini-album’s auditory world.

As an opener for Planets and Gods, Mermaids tells about the culture, where death does not exist in the usual sense. Instead, there is metamorphosis: they become mermaids and live forever in the depths of the sea – a natural form of immortality.

Hunters

Hunters tells the story of a fictional folk community that believes if they don’t go hunting, no one will hunt them. But pacifism does not bring peace: external “hunters” invade regardless, bringing conflict to a world that has tried to remain pure and untouched.

V/A Fundraiser Compilation Дім Home

The album is a wild, genre-spanning collection of 45 unreleased tracks by exclusively Ukrainian artists. It aims to reflect the colourfulness and diversity of Ukrainian independent music in times of Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine. My song “White Hole” became a part of this release.
